Social Media and Giveaways

SOCIAL MEDIA INFORMATION / GIVEAWAYS

Please note in order to remain compliant with United States sweepstakes laws, please do not make any of the giveaway entries (with regards to my information) mandatory. I’m totally okay if you make any of these an option – but please don’t make mine mandatory for entry.

The easiest way to handle this problem is to have an entry which states “No purchase necessary”.

Here are a couple of links if you want to learn more about why you cannot have mandatory entries in your giveaway.

10/28/13 I have removed Pinterest because they do not allow running “… a sweepstakes where each pin, repin, board, like or follow represents an entry.” See the official rules at Pinterest here:

PLEASE NOTE: Regarding my e-book Mastering the Art of Baking with Coconut Flour – if you are doing a review or giveaway, please be aware that all but four of the recipes are available on my blog. Mastering the Art of Baking with Coconut Flour is not technically a recipe book, it is meant to be a tutorial/instructional type book and the recipes given are mostly for helping people get started.
